Good bulk pencil value

I ordered a bulk pack of the 600 News pencils for my office, and I was pretty happy with the overall value. I signed up for their newsletter before buying and got a little extra off, which was nice. With the discount and the bulk pricing, it felt like a solid deal. Shipping took about a week to get to me in Oregon, but the pencils arrived in good shape. They write consistently, no issues with breakage. For the price I paid, I got a lot of usable pencils, so yeah, worth it.

Nice pencils, slow tracking

I got the Hermitage pencils and a pencil sampler set, and I really like the pencils themselves. They feel premium, and write very smoothly. The sampler was a good way to try out a few different types without committing to a whole box. My only minor gripe was the tracking; it took a couple of days after I got the shipping notification for the tracking number to actually show any updates, which made me a bit antsy. But once it did update, they arrived pretty quickly, about 4 days to New York. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about the tracking. Overall, good product for the money, but tracking could be a bit more instant.

My First Pencil is great

I bought the My First Pencil for my nephew starting kindergarten, and he loves it! It's super easy for his little hands to hold, and he's already drawing all over his paper. The quality is really good, feels sturdy. I'm definitely getting more stuff from Musgrave Pencil soon!

i think it depends on the shipping option you choose, but mine usually gets to LA within a week. might be cutting it close for 'next week' if you haven't ordered yet though.

Yeah, check their site around Back to School or even Christmas. They often have deals then. Also, if you sign up for their newsletter, you usually get a little discount for your first order.

Thinking of trying the Tennessee Red. How do they compare to Blackwing or Faber-Castell? Are they worth the hype?

The Tennessee Red is great, really smooth. It's not quite as soft as some Blackwing models, but it holds a point better. More comparable to a really good Faber-Castell in terms of feel, but with that cedar smell.

Totally different vibe than Blackwing, which are super soft usually. Musgrave is more about that traditional, quality pencil feel. I like 'em for everyday writing, not so much for sketching like my Blackwings.
